In order to accurately map and support future growth, WESPA GmbH’s global business processes had to be harmonised in a single system for the USA and Germany, with corresponding transparency in the processes of the individual national subsidiaries. The introduction of SAP Business One was intended to map the ever-increasing complexity of products and the growing number of product variants for 35,000 items with high product depth and make them analysable with central data storage. The different accounting challenges and complex tax legislations of both countries were taken into account.
