Founded in 2020 as a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD, the visual computing pioneers of the start-up are leading the development of the instant3D hub platform technology in Darmstadt.

The first Visual Computing as a Service technology combines state-of-the-art rendering and cloud technologies to revolutionize the industrial use of 3D data. Threedy ensures the productive use of mixed reality and digital work scenarios in any industrial application, creating a consistent technological basis from proof of concept to production. Threedy was initially looking for a solution that would make accounting and controlling processes more effective and transparent. It also needed to be scalable and able to grow with the company. SAP Business One in combination with the UNIORG READY2GO methodology for start-ups enabled the young company to go live in a very short time.
