These were the highlights of the presentation:</strong

  • Real-time telemetry data: CAP enables the processing, storage, analysis and manipulation of all available telemetry data during timed laps in real time.

  • SAPUI5-based sim racing dashboard: This dashboard visualises all relevant information above the steering wheel at an impressive frame rate of 60 frames per second.

  • Session recording and analysis: The system records the entire session in a local database so that it can also be analysed offline after the race. At the same time, the simulation packages are streamed to the SAP BTP Cloud Logging service via Open Telemetry (OTLP).

  • Live race analysis: The post-race analysis was carried out using an SAP Fiori Elements application, which was created live on stage using the SAP Fiori tools.

  • Dashboard showed a graphical representation of the route with braking and acceleration points in addition to the metrics figures.
