We use hCaptcha (hereinafter referred to as “hCaptcha”) on this website. The provider is Intuition Machines, Inc, 2211 Selig Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90026, USA (hereinafter referred to as “IMI”).

The purpose of hCaptcha is to check whether the data entry on this website (e.g. in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, hCaptcha analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics.

This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters a website with activated hCaptcha. For the analysis, hCaptcha evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent on the website by the website visitor or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to IMI. If hCaptcha is used in “invisible mode”, the analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.

Consent can be revoked at any time.

The data processing is based on standard contractual clauses contained in the Data Processing Addendum to IMI’s General Terms and Conditions or the Data Processing Agreements.

Further information on hCaptcha can be found in the privacy policy and terms of use at the following links: https://www.hcaptcha.com/privacy and https://hcaptcha.com/terms.

Every company certified under the DPF undertakes to comply with these data protection standards. Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/6388.

GDPR), we use content or service offers from third-party providers to integrate their content and services, such as videos or fonts (hereinafter uniformly referred to as “content”).

This always presupposes that the third-party providers of this content are aware of the IP address of the user, as they would not be able to send the content to their browser without the IP address. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We endeavor to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. Google Analytics

On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR), we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC (“Google”). GDPR) Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC (“Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the user is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (Participant Detail (dataprivacyframework.gov).

Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offer by users, to compile reports on the activities within this online offer and to provide us with further services associated with the use of this online offer and the use of the Internet. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.

We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser will not be merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the online offer and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. Users’ personal data is deleted or anonymized after 14 months.

Integration of Google Maps

Our website uses the map service Google Maps to show you our location and to make it easier for you to find us.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

When a page with integrated Google Maps is accessed, a connection to Google’s servers is established. Personal data such as your IP address and possibly location data may be processed and transmitted to Google servers in the USA. Google processes the data in accordance with the Google privacy policy.

In this context, Google Ireland Limited, as the sole controller under data protection law, may store the hash values in the USA. The European Court of Justice has ruled that the USA is a country with an inadequate level of data protection. In this context, there is a particular risk that your data will be processed by American institutions/authorities for control and monitoring purposes without you having sufficient legal recourse against this. On July 10, 2023, the EU Commission adopted the adequacy decision for the “EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework”. This means that the EU Commission considers the level of data protection in the USA to be comparable to that in the EU and therefore secure for transfers based on the agreement. Google is certified in accordance with this and bases any data transfer to the USA on this. The processing of personal data in the context of the use of the map view with Google Maps is also subject to the Google Maps Terms of Use.

Google Maps will only be used with your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. When you first visit our website, you have the option of using our Borlabs cookie consent tool to decide whether Google Maps may be loaded. You can revoke or change your consent at any time via the cookie settings in the Borlabs consent banner.

If you do not give your consent, Google Maps will not be loaded and no data will be transmitted to Google.

Google Universal Analytics

„Cross-Device-Tracking“).

Google Doubleclick

On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR), we use the services of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (“Google”). GDPR) the services of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, (“Google”).

Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (Participant Detail (dataprivacyframework.gov).

We use the online marketing process Google “Doubleclick” to place ads in the Google advertising network (e.g. in search results, in videos, on websites, etc.). Double Click is characterized by the fact that ads are displayed in real time based on the presumed interests of users. This allows us to display ads for and within our online offering in a more targeted manner in order to present users only with ads that potentially match their interests. If, for example, a user is shown ads for products that they have shown an interest in on other online offers, this is referred to as “remarketing”. For these purposes, when our and other websites on which the Google advertising network is active are accessed, a code from Google is executed directly by Google and so-called (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or code, also known as “web beacons”) are integrated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie, i.e. a small file, is stored on the user’s device (comparable technologies can also be used instead of cookies). This file records which websites the user has visited, which content they are interested in and which offers the user has clicked on, as well as technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information about the use of the online offer.

The IP address of the user is also recorded, whereby this is shortened within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and only in exceptional cases is it transmitted in full to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google may also combine the aforementioned information with such information from other sources. If the user subsequently visits other websites, he may be shown ads tailored to his presumed interests on the basis of his user profile.

User data is processed pseudonymously within the Google advertising network. This means that Google does not store and process the user’s name or email address, for example, but processes the relevant data in relation to cookies within pseudonymous user profiles. This means that, from Google’s perspective, the ads are not managed and displayed for a specifically identified person, but for the cookie owner, regardless of who this cookie owner is. This does not apply if a user has expressly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The information collected by Google marketing services about users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google’s servers in the USA.

Further information on the use of data by Google, setting and objection options, can be found in Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) and in the settings for the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).

Youtube

We integrate the videos of the platform “YouTube” of the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/, Opt-Out: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.

Online-Interaction-Tool – Heyflow

We have integrated forms from HeyFlow on this website. The provider is Heyflow GmbH, Jungfernstieg 49, 20354 Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as HeyFlow). HeyFlow provides a technology for the creation of online interaction tools (click funnels), with the help of which (potential) customers, applicants or other third parties (hereinafter “inquirers”) can contact us. For this purpose, the inquirers enter their request and the other requested data (e.g. name, contact details, etc.) in the form and submit it. You may have the option of uploading your own files, for which the following explanations also apply.

All requests are processed in HeyFlow’s systems on our behalf. We have concluded an order processing contract with HeyFlow. This contract ensures that HeyFlow processes the data in compliance with the GDPR and exclusively on the basis of our instructions. Further details can be found in HeyFlow’s privacy policy at https://heyflow.app/de/datenschutz

The processing of this data with the help of HeyFlow is based on our legitimate interest in the most interactive and user-friendly communication possible with enquirers (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

The inquiry data itself is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided that your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In the case of an application, the processing of your data is based on Section 26 (1) BDSG.

In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested; the consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

The data you enter will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Mautic

We use Mautic on our website – an open source tool for marketing, tracking, analysis and automation. Mautic is also used to process customer communication. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

We also use Mautic to individualize our marketing measures and better align them with the interests of each individual user. The software also helps us to better evaluate the success of individual marketing measures.

Mautic is hosted on our virtual server. There is no general transfer of data to third parties.

The way Mautic works is characterized by:

Email marketing and campaigns

With e-mail marketing, personalized e-mails are sent to you. These are partly based on the usage behavior on our website, when reading our emails and when interacting with the links contained therein. We also send emails as part of campaigns and to provide our customers with commercially relevant information.

Landingpages

Landing pages are special websites that have been defined as the target of advertising campaigns. They usually contain interaction options, e.g. for downloading whitepapers or checklists and forms for collecting information about you.

The software uses various technical processes to assign individual activities to anonymous profiles or – with prior consent – to the profiles of individual users:

Tracking pixel

Mautic uses so-called tracking pixels to recognize whether, for example, an email has been opened. These are used to load a small graphic from our web server, which has previously been assigned to an individual user profile.

Personalized web links

In order to recognize whether, for example, a user calls up a link from an e-mail, Mautic adds a unique identifier to these links, which has previously been assigned to an individual user profile.

Cookies

Cookies are unique identification numbers that Mautic stores on the user’s device when they first visit the website and assigns to an individual user profile. This enables Mautic to recognize individual users on subsequent visits to the website. These are so-called “first-party cookies”, which can only be set and analyzed by us.

IP Adress

The IP address currently used by website visitors is transmitted to us each time our website is accessed. Mautic uses this to recognize users of the website. The IP addresses are displayed anonymously in mautic.

It is also collected:

  • the activity on our website
number of page views and time spent on the website
  • the click path of the respective visitor
  • downloads of files provided via the website
  • visits to landing pages
  • openings of e-mails from newsletters and campaigns
As part of a registration on the website or the download of a white paper, the provider collects
  • contact data (such as name, postal or e-mail address, telephone or fax number) through the use of Mautic
  • Business contact data (such as your job title, the name of my business, business e-mail address, telephone or fax number).

The released data is clearly recognizable for the user by filling out a form. It is indicated which data is required to send the form. We collect and use data with Mautic only to the extent that it is necessary to achieve our business objectives with you. The data will not be transmitted to third parties at any time. You can object to the use of Mautic at any time. Please contact us to do so.
