Will companies really have to switch to the new Business Suite by 2025?

SAP S/4HANA Conversion essentially
SAP S/4HANA conversion or migration (brownfield approach) describes a 1:1 transfer of the existing ERP system into the new one. What does this mean exactly?
This means that all important data and functions are transferred and can continue to be used. With the serious difference that an innovative and uniform Business Suite now exists – an “intelligent” ERP system for an even “smarter” company.
In contrast to the conversion, the greenfield approach is often mentioned, which offers the possibility of a completely new and “unencumbered” system.
Many ERP systems run on any database, some already run on the HANA database. Basically, the already existing systems often contain Z-programs, individual enhancements of the ERP system, which can be as complex as desired.
The deadline in 2027 or 2030 with the extended maintenance applies. So there is no urgent reason to panic. The most important thing is to prepare yourself appropriately. Since the changeover to SAP S/4HANA can take some time, it is not wrong to at least have a look at your ERP system beforehand.
