In an age of globalization and growing international commerce, updating exchange rates in realtime is becoming increasingly important in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Exchange rates are generally updated manually, which is time-consuming and results in increased costs for the company. Furthermore, errors cannot be completely prevented when exchange rates are transferred manually.

For this reason, UNIORG has developed an integrated solution for SAP ERP and SAP All-in-One systems: UNIORG Exchange Rate. This solution provides an automated, periodic, reliable transfer of exchange rates to your SAP system. The current exchange rates are queried every day (via Web Service) from appropriate sources (the European Central Bank (ECB), Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, Finanzen.net, etc.) and, after a checked that the rate differs from the previous day’s rate, it is automatically transferred to the SAP system. Depending on the data source, you can choose between the buying rate, bank selling rate or the average rate. An information dialog box in UNIORG Exchange Rate provides useful information about the data sources.
